About Us

I am Miranda Jones, and I was a loan officer at a bank until I went on maternity leave in 2002. I decided to make an online loan resource for moms (and their families) because it was heartbreaking to see mothers come in for loans when they were so embarassed they could hardly even ask for the loan. Several expressed their wishes that they could have applied to the bank online, especially when they would have to bring their children with them to the appointments, due to lack of childcare. It is now 2009 and I am doing what I love.

I heard the story so often, I decided to finally do something about it, and LoansforMoms.com was born!
